I headed to Kansas City from Laramie to visit with LA and Brenda Schwerdt. It was great seeing them and playing in the pool.
As I left Wyoming, I saw several antelopes, so I had to stop and take at least one photo. On the way, I took I-70, and the crosswinds weren't as nasty as those on I-80 toward Laramie, but I hit them coming across Kansas. I stopped in Wakeeny for the night.
On the second day coming across, I got off the interstate across 24. On my way to see Dorothy's House in Wamego, Kansas, I almost passed the world's largest ball of twain in Cawker, Kansas. When I got back to Jack, I saw a small nail in his front tire. I tried to make it to the equality house, but there was too much construction. So, I went to see the world's largest Wren in Topeka.
While in Kansas City, LA took me to Outlaw Harley to get the tire replaced. Doesn't Jack look sexy with white wall tires?
I left Kansas City and headed to Michigan, trying to beat the incoming system. I wanted to get as many miles as I could in. I got 700 miles and tried finding a hotel in Cedar Springs, but there was no luck. The following hotel up the way was 35 miles away, so I finished the trip to Mom and Dad's. So who has the ice cause my butt hurts with 790 miles in one day.
